Good and Bad News

Good news everyone. We decided to change our network from Heavenly Divine Network to Celestial Oracle Studio. We wanted to remain our domains with the similar meaning of heavenly, stars, and sky, plus this new network name gives a nice ring to it. A couple fanlistings were also renamed which usually a new layout will soon to follow.

Cerine and I have revamped a few fanlistings that we deem needed a new layout change. The others we still find them "good" shall remain unchanged. Here are a couple sites that went through a new design.
  1. Ah! Megami-sama (Ah! My Goddess) - New layout
  2. Contact Form - This one isn’t a fanlisting, but it’s a revamp anyway.
  3. Guestbook - this design features Sakura and Naruto from the NARUTO series. The previous design were too pink for us, so this one replaced it.
We pruned out old buttons for most of our fanlistings and remade new variety of choices for you to choose from, specifically for only sizes 50×50, 75×50 and 100×50. You can find these new buttons on all fanlistings under Skylude. In addition, we have temporarily moved most of the sites that were once under Celestialis onto Aelysia because we plan on having that domain expire along with future updates that’ll soon to come.

The bad news is that, due to the upcoming PHP 7 changes, we are looking for someone who's more knowledgeable with coding that can port the fanlisting script to the newest version. Unfortunately, I can only update the codes to work that I've coded on my own. Both script owners of Enthusiast and Listing Admin doesn't seem on planning on updating their scripts anytime soon which is going to hit a lot of fanlisting owners in the future. In the meantime, we'll have to lurk through TFL's forums to see any updates for this fix.


Eidolon

Happy New Year everyone. So I was supposed to release this new project I've been working during the end October. But due to form problems not working properly, I had to push it back to troubleshoot the errors.

Anyway, without further ado, we introduce you to our first claim rotation site called Eidolon, a claim rotation based off of Final Fantasy series where you can choose your favorite summon. Summons are magical creatures that can be summoned in battle. They are known by many names such as Aeon, Guardian Force, Astral, Eidolon, Esper. These creatures are powerful, and can have offensive, curative or supportive effects. Do you have a favorite summon in mind? This is the place claim your own Eidolon as your ally.

Aside from the new site, I've also went ahead and cleaned up dead links from Celestialis’ links out section and then updated the code to have each link display vertically instead of horizontally. Improvements and Updates

The past few days I’ve been working on updating our layout archive as we do have quite a handful of past and current designs that we want to display. In addition, I've made minor changes and tweaking to the codes which are unnoticeable to the public. Here are things I’ve included with the update:
  1. Improved MySQL/PHP Layout Database
  2. Changed the main interface a bit via CSS
  3. Changed the interface of thumbnails via CSS
  4. Fancy jQuery popup added when viewing our layouts in full size
  5. Added dynamic pagination (located on the bottom of the thumbnails) when there are more than nine layouts displayed per page
  6. Added in new designs to the database
These updates may not be much, but as a coder, it's quite a daunting task. Regardless, we hope you come visit our layout archive when you get the chance. There may be a few designs that might inspire you.
