Just Five More Minutes

Another approved fanlisting for this month is now complete and available to the public. Additionally, I have updated the layout archive—all designs created should now be up-to-date.
  • Sleeping – As much as I'd like to have more hours in the day to work on projects that require concentration (such as web coding), sleep is essential. It helps my brain consolidate memories and recharge, allowing me to approach tasks with a fresh mind the following day.
Script Issues
Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing an issue with Listing Admin’s forms on Enamour. Notifications are not being sent when any type of form is submitted. While fanlisting forms are still processing correctly, no automated notifications are being received from the server. Additionally, we are unable to receive emails sent via the script’s built-in contact forms.

As a result, contact forms are temporarily closed until the issue is resolved. In the meantime, please forward any inquiries, affiliations, or questions to fan[at]aelysia.net. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Galactic Void

It's hard to believe that 2024 is already behind us. Although it may seem like there haven't been many noticeable network updates in the past few months, I've been working behind the scenes on Listing Admin's backend coding to better tailor it for our cliques. Currently, I'm troubleshooting a persistent issue with getting multiple favorite fields to work correctly, and I hope to resolve this in the near future.

Additionally, I’ve made some modifications to Enamour’s version of Listing Admin—all links under the "joined," "owned," and "affiliates" sections are now listed by ID numbers rather than by URLs. This change will be expanded in the future to cover individual fanlisting affiliates.

In an attempt to break my streak of inactivity, I am happy to announce that I’ve been approved for one of my favorite subjects. I've also applied for a few more, which are currently pending approval.
  • Space – I have loved the vastness of space, the stars, and the night sky for as long as I can remember. They’ve always held a special place in my heart (no pun intended), and I feel a deep connection to them.
Twitter (X) Update
After much deliberation, I’ve decided to move away from posting network updates on Twitter (or rather, X). Unfortunately, the platform now requires an account to view any tweets. From now on, network updates will be consolidated the old-fashioned way and will be posted here on the website. This approach also benefits the network by encouraging visitors to check the domain for future updates.

Land of the Rising Sun

A new month brings with it the opportunity for a fresh start. While my updates have been somewhat infrequent, it seems they’ve become a rare occurrence—either once a month or not at all. Admittedly, my modus operandi have slowed in recent times, and along the way, I lost some of the joy I once had in the process. Currently, I'm working through a substantial backlog of tasks.

New Fanlisting
A few days ago, I was approved to launch a new fanlisting. To my surprise, it seems that no one has shown interest in this subject in years, so I decided to apply impulsively.
  1. Japan - Referring back to the previous update on my spring vacation, my last visit to Japan was approximately 12 years ago. Even after all this time, there is still so much to explore and learn about Japan, especially considering how little I knew of Japanese culture at the time of my visit.
Layout Archive
I’ve recently updated our layout archive with all the latest designs. While this section usually goes under the radar, the large number of new layouts released this year prompted me to make sure they were added. Cerine and I want to ensure that no designs go untracked, as we occasionally overlook one or two without a thorough review.

Directory Collective
The directory has also undergone an update, with several collectives being added and outdated ones removed. I have also redesigned and updated the buttons, as the previous ones were outdated and hastily created. The size of the 88x15 buttons has been reduced to 80x15 on the links page. Additionally, the animations for the pixels have been slowed down, making them less intense compared to the previous versions.
