Greetings, you've reached Disclosure, an update log for Aelysia.net, Cradle of the Astralspire Network. As any long-term project, I try to keep a record of the activity and main changes done on this domain. To fulfill this purpose, this update log is to keep track of announcements and general updates. Please be mindful that as you progress further back to the older entries, some links you'll come across may be outdated and inaccessible.

PHP7 LA & Exvius

In response to growing concerns within the fanlisting community regarding the limitations of Enthusiast and Listing Admin scripts on PHP5, a fully compatible version has now been successfully ported to PHP7. Special thanks to Ekaterina for her invaluable contribution, particularly for the Listing Admin script, which remains my preferred tool due to its robust features.

Previously, our host, Dreamhost, announced the mandatory phase-out of PHP5, leaving no option to continue using legacy scripts. This change was driven by enhancements, new functions, and deprecations in PHP7. In response, all fanlistings have been updated to ensure smooth operation and prevent future issues. While every fanlisting has been carefully reviewed, please notify me if you encounter any errors.

During the interim while awaiting a PHP7-compatible fanlisting script, I launched a claim clique based on Square Enix’s renowned Final Fantasy franchise: Exvius. This project was originally conceived by our former affiliate, Evey, but was discontinued along with her domain. I decided to revive the concept, as I greatly enjoy the clique format and am a long-time Final Fantasy fan. Membership is open to both returning and new participants, and no custom pixel design is required for joining.

FL Relocation & Domain Updates

Cerine and I would like to provide a brief update regarding our fanlistings. All fanlistings have been transferred to a new fanlisting collective, and the corresponding moved forms have been submitted to TFL and TAFL. Fanlistings hosted under the previous domain will remain publicly accessible until the official reopening is announced.

Additionally, we will not be renewing the Celestialis domain. As a result, certain content is being transferred to Cerine’s upcoming personal domain, while other content will be hosted on Aelysia. A grand reopening is not planned at this time due to the holiday season; however, we aim to have updated domain layouts operational around January 2020. Affiliates will be notified of these moves and updates.

We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any temporary inconvenience caused during this transition.

Celestial Oracle Studio & Fanlisting Revamps

We are pleased to announce that our network has officially changed its name from Heavenly Divine Network to Celestial Oracle Studio. The new name preserves the thematic essence of the original—evoking the heavens, stars, and sky—while providing a more distinctive and memorable identity. As part of this rebranding, several fanlistings have been renamed, with updated layouts to follow shortly.

Cerine and I have undertaken a revamp of select fanlistings that we felt required a refreshed design. Fanlistings that are still in good condition will remain unchanged. The following sites have received new layouts:
  1. Ah! Megami-sama (Ah! My Goddess) – Updated design
  2. Contact Form – Not a fanlisting, but refreshed layout
  3. Guestbook – Features Sakura and Naruto from the NARUTO series; replaces a previous design that was overly pink
In addition, we have pruned outdated buttons across most fanlistings and introduced a new variety of options, available in 50Ă—50, 75Ă—50, and 100Ă—50 sizes. These new buttons are accessible on all fanlistings under Skylude. Temporarily, many sites formerly under Celestialis have been moved to Aelysia, as the former domain is scheduled to expire and will no longer receive future updates.

On a more technical note, the upcoming PHP 7 changes present challenges for fanlisting maintenance. We are currently seeking a skilled developer to port our fanlisting scripts to PHP7, as the current script owners of Enthusiast and Listing Admin have no announced plans for updates. While I am able to maintain scripts I have personally coded, adapting these existing scripts is beyond my current capacity. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor TFL forums for any updates or solutions regarding this transition.

Eidolon Claim Rotation

Happy New Year, everyone. This project was originally scheduled for release at the end of October. However, due to technical issues with the submission form, the launch was delayed to allow time for troubleshooting.

We are introducing our first claim rotation site, Eidolon. This project is based on the Final Fantasy series and allows participants to claim their favorite summon. Summons are magical creatures that can be called into battle, known by many names such as Aeon, Guardian Force, Astral, Eidolon, and Esper. These creatures possess a variety of abilities, including offensive, curative, and supportive effects. If you have a favorite summon in mind, Eidolon provides the opportunity to claim one as your ally.

In addition to the new site, I have cleaned up inactive links in Celestialis’ links section and updated the code so that each link now displays vertically instead of horizontally. If you have a link similar to our collective domain that you would like to share, please let us know. Thank you for your continued support.

Layout Archive Updates

Over the past few days, I have been working on updating our layout archive, which houses a variety of past and current designs. While many of the changes are subtle and not immediately visible to the public, several improvements have been made behind the scenes. Key updates include:
  1. Enhanced MySQL/PHP layout database for better organization and performance.
  2. Refined the main interface with CSS adjustments.
  3. Updated the thumbnail interface using CSS for a cleaner display.
  4. Added a fancy jQuery popup to view layouts in full size.
  5. Implemented dynamic pagination at the bottom of the thumbnails for pages displaying more than nine layouts.
  6. Included new designs in the database.
While these updates may seem minor, they represent a significant effort from a coding perspective. We invite you to explore our layout archive and hope that some of the designs may provide inspiration for your own projects.
